A system designed for an assignment on “Altered States” in games. Designed to exemplify a new way of mapping exploration throughout a game space where the player moves around an area and can scrawl notes directly onto the field of play in order to make note of certain hazards. Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move the blue player object through the area. Light green squares outline areas where there are hazards such as mud, walls or traps. Left mouse button allows the player to draw out notes or section off areas of the map as they explore while right mouse button gives them a finer pointer. Use middle mouse button to place a red X to denote hazards. Spacebar erases all notes on the environment.
